Professor Dr. Purujit Chudhury is the Principal cum Chief Superintendent of Nagaon Medical College. He was working as Professor of Surgery in Guwahati Medical College before joining this institution. He was selected for a fellowship in surgical gastroenterology with minimal invasive surgery to go to Kameda Medical Center, Japan. He had the opportunity to work in the Mount Sinai Hospital, New York for two times under Prof Barry Salki and Professor Myron Schwartz, one of the best surgical gastroenterologist and onco surgeon and liver transplant surgeon of the world. This accomplished clinician and researcher joined Nagaon Medical College as Principal cum Chief Superintendent on 07-07-2026.
